Barbiturates Tests
The following urine drug tests will test for Barbiturates BAR.
Detection Period - Short Acting (e.g. Secobarbital) 4.5 days; Long acting (e.g. Phenobarbital) 7 days
Detection Level - 300 ng/mL (with Secobarbital as the Calibrator)
Barbiturates are used as sedatives, hypnotics, and anesthetics. The most commonly used prescription named barbiturates are Amytal, Nembutal and Seconal. Barbiturates are classified as ultrashort, short, intermediate, and long-acting. This effects the detection period of this drug test (see above).
