Phencyclidine (PCP) is an illegal recreational dissociative drug with unpredictable effects on the user. It comes in powder and liquid form. In liquid form it is known as "embalming fluid," which refers to the way users will dip a cigarette or joint into the liquid to smoke PCP.
According to a 2007 National Institute on Drug Abuse study, 0.9% of 12th graders had taken PCP at least once in the year prior to the survey.
