The 4 panel drug test strip is our basic multi-drug strip. The drugs it tests for are commonly abused and are marijuana, cocaine, opiates, and methamphetamines. Opiates tested for include codeine, heroin, and morphine. Cocaine includes both powder and crack cocaine.

We recommend this test to businesses and individuals looking to screen for basic drug use. This panel includes three highly addictive drug(s), cocaine, opiates, and methamphetamines. Marijuana is standard on all drug tests.

If you are interested in testing for prescription drugs, the 12 panel is probably a better test to choose. While oxycodone can show up on this panel as positive for Opiates, it does not show up as a positive as consistently as it does on its own test, the OxyContin Drug Test. If OxyContin is a major concern for you, we suggest purchasing either the OxyContin Drug Test separately, along with this test, or purchasing a 10 Panel iCup or 12 Panel test.

The 4 panel drug test is an economical way to test for four different but commonly abused drugs/drug classes at once. The detection periods and cutoff levels for each drug are below:

4 Panel Drug Test Strip Detection Times & Cutoff Levels
Drug Detection Period Cutoff Level
Marijuana (THC) 7-30 days* 50 ng/mL
Cocaine(COC) 2-4 days 300 ng/mL
Opiates (OPI) 2-4 days 2000 ng/mL
Methamphetamines (mAMP) 3-5 days 1000 ng/mL

The test functions in the same way as our single test strips. The advantage here is that it combines testing for multiple drugs. Look for a line, even a very faint line, to appear in the T section of each drug section. If a line (even a very faint line) appears, then the person is negative. If no line appears in the T section, the person is positive for that specific drug.

* The amount of time THC stays in your system can vary widely. It mostly depends on how frequently the person being tested smoked marijuana, and the quality of the marijuana smoked. For more information on this issue please see our blog article, "How Long Does Marijuana Stay In Your System?".
