Well, actually, you CAN still be hair drug tested. It just depends if the person getting the test got the right test for you.
Any test produced by HairConfirm will accept body gabapentinoral hair submissions. Body hair grows more slowly than hair on your head, so the timeframe represented by a body hair submission is about one year. That also means that it does not have the same starting point as hair from the head. It takes about a week after use for drugs to show up in the hair; it takes longer for drugs to show up in body hair. So choose body hair if you are interested in learning about drug use from a few months ago.
You can collect body hair from the arms, the chest, the underarms, or the legs. Try to collect 120 strands of body hair or more. You gather body hair the same way you do hair from the head when submitting your sample – keep all the root ends together and fold the hair into the collection foil.
This test is the only one we carry that exclusively accepts hair from the head.
Another common question is if hair can be taken from a hairbrush for a test. We do not recommend this as the laboratory could reject it as not collected properly. If the sample is rejected for this reason, a refund will not be provided. Another issue is that kids share hairbrushes all the time – there is no telling for certain that the hair on the brush is from your child. Finally, the hair on the brush could be from varying time periods, thus disrupting the accuracy of the test.

can you fail a drug test if your around second hand smoke. if a person uses medical marijuana around you can this change your drug test to positive if you do not smoke it, or eat it, or all of the other ways they use it.

Second hand smoke does not register on hair, saliva OR urine drug tests. Here is what the manufacturer of the saliva and urine drug tests said on the matter:
“We had a test where someone was placed in a isolated room with THC smoke was being pumped in for 24 hours straight and the person did not register. On a lab test it did pick up about 3 or 4 nanograms but as you know instant tests are set at 50ng/ml.”
With hair tests, the hair is treated and analyzed in such a way that second hand smoke cannot make a difference. Hair drug testing tests for the metabolite, which means the drug would’ve had to directly enter (in other words, NOT second hand) and have been broken down by your body. Second hand smoke is just an environmental contaminant.

pre-employement drug test,they only go back 90 days? so that means anything after that they dont really worry bout. i took a 10mlg aderall about a month in a half ago, just one. will my levels be ok to pass
Is Ambien a drug that would show up in drug testing?

i had takken a couple vicodine and a perkeset bout 2 1/2 months ago and i have to take a hair folicle test on 3/10/11. Im freakin out and need to no if i will fail or not please resond asap. thanks

Hair drug testing for prescription drugs is available on the market. Vicodin and Percocet are drugs these tests detect (see our illegal/prescription drug test here for example). It is possible the drug use could show up on the test. Prescription drug hair testing is becoming more common but IMO is not quite as common as just illegal drug hair testing so it’s possible you won’t be tested for those drugs anyway. It really depends on the lab doing the testing.

What does a 780300 Hair Drug Analysis cover from LabCorp. And I had the Flu about 3 months ago and my girlfried gave me a tablespoon of Prometh with Codeine Cough Syrup. How will this effect the test.

I can’t really cover what’s on a specific test by another lab. I would recommend contacting someone at LabCorp and asking – companies don’t ask for your information or anything in answering questions. Codeine is part of our standard HairConfirm hair testing panel. I do very much doubt that their testing would pick up a tablespoon of cough syrup though.

Hey I’m 23 and is 6’1 and weight 208. Not sure if my metabolism is high or not but spend time working out. Im not a smoker at all except I have smoked weed only once back in September 17 of this year. I drink water now and then except this week I’ve been drinking more and passed the urine test this past Monday. I have to take a hair drug test next week and will I fail?
