We offer the Home Access HIV Test which is the only FDA Approved home aids test on the market. The test, in both its Express and Standard versions, has been proven by the FDA to be 99.9% accurate, as reliable as HIV Tests used by doctors and hospitals. The test not only offers accurate results but the option of receiving counseling and medical referals when the results are received.
Anonymous HIV Testing
The home HIV testing kits we offer are completely anonymous. This is significant because there is a difference between confidential and anonymous testing. Confidential testing means that your name is attached to the test. Anonymous means that your name is never attached to the test - you register to receive the results using a unique code number that comes with your test. This in the words of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation "protects you from any and all risk of discrimination or adverse impact." We further ensure that the test is anonymous by mailing it to you in a plain box with a return address of MLSC, Inc., our parent company.
Easy to Use Home Blood Test
Our at home HIV kit is noninvasive. You collect a small blood sample with an included blood lancet. A collection card is provided for the blood drops, as is a bandage. The instructions included are very comprehensive.
The Only FDA Approved Home HIV Test on the Market
At the moment, the Home Access Home AIDS Test is the only FDA Approved test on the market. Both the Standard and Express versions are FDA Approved. The only difference between the two tests is the time it takes to receive results. The Express Kit comes with a FedEx Overnight mailer so that you can send your sample to the laboratory for processing as soon as possible; the Standard Kit comes with a first-class mailer for your sample to lab transport. The Express Kit allows you to recieve your results the day after the lab receives the sample; the Standard Kit has your results for you 5 days after the sample is received. After receiving your test results by phone you may request a written copy by email or by U.S. Mail.
The Home HIV Test is fast, convenient, accurate and easy to use. Each kit comes with a detailed instruction booklet with graphic illustrations to guide you through the entire collection and aids testing process. Either the Standard or Express options are great products that will allow you to learn your HIV status at home and anonymously.
